Over 20 breweries are making the journey over the channel from Belgium, bringing with them more than 60 of their finest beers to showcase to Londoners next month. Ales Tales is the first Belgian only craft beer festival to hit the UK and follows UNESCO recognising the country’s beer as part of its Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2016. As well as tasty beer from the likes of small batch micro-breweries En Stoemelings and ‘t Hofbrouwerijke plus well-known producers Brasserie de la Senne and Hof Ten Dorsal, there will also be a taste of Belgian culture. Food will be headed up by native chef extraordinaire Fabrice Rocheteau serving croquette de crevettes and ballekes sauce liegeoise along with Belgium’s famous chips and mayo.
Ales Tales takes place 21st and 22nd July 2017 at Oval Space, London. Tickets are £35 and include unlimited tasting of all of the beers on offer. Tickets via Design My Night.
