For all you art and toy lovers out there, Fullcircle Gallery in Leeds will be holding an exclusive exhibition launch by Visual Culture Outlet, The Hang Gang, on Friday 28th October at 6pm.
Created by the Hang Gang owner Barry Darnell, ‘Icons’ will see 22 fantastic artists from around the world come together for a huge event never seen before in the North of England.
The launch will include the works of famous Welsh artist Pete Fowler, who is considered one of Britain’s elite toy customisers and known for his artwork with rock band Super Furry Animals, as well as US sculptor sensation Drilone. There are also pieces from both nu-school star Jon Paul Kaiser and Germany’s Bruno Orbit.
Everything from the exhibition is available to buy on the night on a first come, first served basis, with the remaining pieces being sold online at www.thehanggang.co.uk after the event has finished.
The show artwork was created by Leeds-based illustrator Drew Millward, and guests will also be able to purchase that during the show. Away from the exhibition itself, there will be several artists including Guy McKinley producing live paintings.
Guests will be entertained throughout the evening with music from upcoming Leeds indie pop band, Escort Knights, and the leading figure of E.A.R Recordings, J.Cub. There will also a fully licensed bar, pop up store plus loads of fantastic giveaways!
Follow the Hang Gang on twitter @thehanggang for the latest information about the exhibition as well as the chance to win a signed copy of the show poster.
The exhibition will run until Thursday November 3rd, and entry is free of charge!
