Often it’s the huge life changing moments that tend to creep up on you, right on your very doorstep shrouded in mystery as to where they appeared from. Well so goes the momentous roster of musical acts at this summer’s, All Points East. Taking place in east London’s Victoria Park, this brand new festival encompasses a three day festival followed by midweek entertainment and then three more headline shows across stellar production and concept stages.

The first festival weekend promises iconic electronic and dance headliner acts such as LCD Soundsystem, The XX and Bjork. Trailblazers from a cross-section of genres follow, including Beck, Father John Misty, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Lorde as well as hip hop imaginings from Young Fathers, jazz revivalists Badbadnotgood and indie troubadours Friendly Fires.
Next up the four day midweek program will host comedy, food and outdoor cinema screenings to celebrate the area and its community before headline acts return for three incredible APE Presents shows. Expect the legendary poetics of Nic k Cave & The Bad Seeds, The National and Catfish & The Bottlemenas well as the brooding chimes and soaking harmonies of Courtney Barnett, Future Islands, Cat Power and more.
