With just a couple of weeks to go until Pitch Music and Arts festival returns to Mafeking, the excitement ramps up a notch as we revisit the all-star line-up.

With a listing as established as any electronic event the world over, the Pitch team are positioning themselves up with the Europeans as far as the festival scene is concerned. Drafting in support from all over the globe as well as showcasing the best homegrown talent Australia has to offer, the listing is littered with unfathomably big names. We’ve selected our ones to watch at Pitch 2018:

One of America’s finest exports, The Black Madonna makes an appearance to bring her disco flavoured beats to the table. Expect an animated set, a big atmosphere and a touch of nudity.

Brit outfit, Mount Kimbie have been knee deep in the UK festival scene for years now, always delivering the finest in electro since their evolution from Dubstep in 2010. They’re among the acts on the listing playing a live set, listen out for tracks from latest album ‘Love what Survives’.

Doing the Victorians proud, local Melbournian Paul Lynch can be found playing alongside Mitchell Gee at Stage 3 on the Sunday. A man of many hats (literally), tech producer and co-founder of Melbourne’s Autosea is one to watch in 2018.

Industry guru DJ Tennis makes a pitstop in Australia for an exclusive performance at Pitch. The Italian born DJ has racked up over 30 years’ experience in the electronic scene, ensuring the crowd are in very safe hands.

If your ears need a break from techno, UKG favourite DJ EZ will have you covered. His distinctive sound and creative mixing never fails to up the tempo for those ready to cut some serious shapes.

Throw the likes of Sven Väth, Seth Troxler, Booka Shade and Maceo Plex into the mix, and you’ve got quite a weekend on your hands. We’ve barely even scratched the surface but find the full listing and accompanying playlists here.
