YARD: Open Air Club

After weeks of graft from Motion’s production Team, the much anticipated Yard: Open Air Club finally landed on Bank Holiday weekend, and what a summer climax..

Despite hosting day events throughout summer, the Open Air Club saw partygoers have free reign of the entire outdoor space, making for a day party of epic proportions.

Guests were treated to the musical stylings of Jeff Mills, Seth Troxler, Joy Orbison, Axel Bowman & Em Williams, and that was just the listing from 1 of the 3 arenas. Detroit Pioneer Jeff Mills’ headline set saw the place spiral into a fusion of techno.

The Lockside saw Eats Everything, Midland, Tobias, Daniel Avery and Gramrcy take to the decks, Midland standing out in particular for his disco flavoured 6-8pm set.

Other standout acts included Octo Octa, who inspired with a live set from the Craneyard.

In addition to that listing, a selection of Bristol’s finest food vendors were on standby to keep ravers fuelled up throughout the day.

Hats off to the team for pulling off a legendary event & managing to do so with minimal impact on the environment. Roll on the next Open Air Club, but in the meantime go check out In:Motion’s A/W listings where the big things continue…
