The autumn chill may be creeping in but there still time to revel in the summertime festival spirit with Wanderlust – one of the world’s largest yoga and lifestyle events kicking off its UK 108 debut in London’s Victoria Park this weekend. Created to help people “find your true north” and cultivate their best self, Wanderlust launched 108 to take its mission around the world and this year will take place in over 60 cities in more than 17 countries on 5 continents.
A major draw of the one-day London event shall be its signature “Mindful triathlon” which comprises of a 5k run (or walk), an outdoor 90-minute yoga class, and a 30-minute guided meditation which will leave you refreshed and ready to enjoy the rest of the treats on offer!
There will be live music and DJs to provide the soundtrack for the day with chilled out house; meanwhile The Uncommons venue shall be the setting for a whole host of free activities throughout the day including acro-yoga, aerial yoga, guided meditation, and hula-hooping.
To fuel all the action is an array of delicious food and drink stalls setting up camp at Wanderlust, offering the best in healthy and vegan street food. Expect summer rolls courtesy of Hanoi Kitchen, yummy vegan raw cakes by Liberty Loves plus Big V vegan burgers and Boa Vida and Form Nutrition collaborating on frozen acai bowls & protein shakes.
Wanderlust will also feature its renowned Kula Marketplace, an expertly curated market of artisan vendors spanning apothecary, clothing, jewellery as well as handcrafted items.
In all, Wanderlust looks to set to be a fantastically fun day for anyone who cares about their health and wellbeing – the perfect remedy for a summer of of excess.
